Enjoy this iconic design chair.
The Masters chair was designed by Philippe Starck, based on the front silhouette of three masterpieces: the 7 chair by Arne Jacobsen, the Tulip chair by Eero Saarinen and the Eiffel chair by Charles Eames.
This chair presents a very attractive image of sinuous shapes; The backrest is made up of curved lines that intersect leaving empty areas, the armrests subtly extend towards the front in perfect harmony with the rest of the set. The result is a fascinating piece of great visual lightness that captivates with its elegance, its modernity and the intelligence of its design.
If you are looking for an “all terrain” chair that suits any situation, this is undoubtedly the most suitable chair.
The seat of the Masters chair rests on a base with four legs that take full advantage of its breadth. Thus, a very comfortable and light chair is obtained, but of great stability at the same time. Being made of polypropylene, a very resistant plastic material, it is also suitable for outdoor use. All these aesthetic and functional qualities make the Masters chair an ideal option for home, but also for bars, cafes and other catering establishments. Its unique figure puts the touch of distinction in any space, while being a practical and very comfortable chair.
Cleaning and maintenance is a very easy task. Its original design while elegant gives off a visual lightness thanks to not having armrests, which makes it more compact, easy to transport and with the possibility of stacking.
A unique piece, with a marked contemporary style.
The Masters chair was awarded in 2010 with the prestigious Good Design Award granted by the Chicago Athenaeum – Museum of Architecture and Design and also with the Red Dot Design Award in 2013.

A little of you history:
The renowned designer Philippe Starck with Eugeni Quitllet, created in 2009 the Masters chair for the Kartell company, from an ingenious hybrid of shapes, establishing lines in common, between the classic chairs of the 50’s of three great design masters; contours of the “Series 7” by Arne Jacobsen, “Eiffel Chair” by Charles Eames and “Tulip” by Eero Saarinen are represented in three dimensions to form the backrest of the seat.
The distinctive touch of the chair, is given by the versatility of the backrest, characterized by solid surfaces and holes created by the curved interlacing of the three silhouettes, which descend until they converge on the perimeter of the seat. A unique piece, with a marked contemporary style.
