Our Corbi armchair is inspired by the design of the famous LC1 model by Le Corbusier, one of the pioneers of the modern movement. Le Corbusier is in fact a pseudonym for the Swiss-French architect, urban planner, writer and designer, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret (1887-1965).
In the late 1920s, he expanded his design ambitions to include furniture and in 1928 he developed his famous Le Corbusier LC2 chairs and sofas. The sofa was designed by Le Corbusier in partnership with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
Its practical nature makes this armchair ideal for hotels, offices, clinics, etc.
The modernity of this armchair has made it one of the most symbolic designs of the 20th century; it’s capable of distinguishing a space all by itself.
The 1-seat Corbi armchair has a tubular chromed steel frame with cushions upholstered in various finishes.
This model could be used in any type of space such as hotels, restaurants, homes, offices, etc. It works well with all different styles of decoration, be it classic or modern.
Thanks to the materials used, the armchair is easy to maintain and clean, and requires no assembly.
